All Souls' Church

 Welcome ...

The Parish has been associated with the renewing work of the Holy Spirit since late 1980's; our desire is to see people being brought into the Kingdom, with lives being changed, healed and matured by the Holy Spirit.

 Patronal Festival

&
All Souls' Day is our patronal festival and is on the 2 November each year

 Our History

%
The Parish of Umhlali, which is situated in the Borough of the Dolphin Coast, on the North Coast of KwaZulu Natal, came into existence as a separate Parish of the Diocese at the beginning of 1998. Prior to that All Souls Church had formed part of the Parish of Stanger. Anglican worship in the district goes back to the 1840's

 How we worship

W
Our early morning Sunday service follows a fairly traditional pattern, conforming to the South African Anglican Prayer Book, but including four hymns or choruses

The later service is much more informal, the Parish has permission to use the Alternative Order for Celebrating the Eucharist. The first part of the service is flexible and informal, allowing time for testimonies, sharing, teaching, and the manifestation of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.

 News

?
We actively promote the Alpha course as a way of reaching into the community. Since 1996, about 20 courses have been held, attended by nearly 300 people. The course is an excellent introduction to the Christian faith. We also hold Children's Alpha courses once a year, and these have been bringing young children into God's Kingdom.
